What a lab test shows
How to read measured content against the label, and why the batch and the test date matter.

A lab test measures how much active compound a product actually contains and compares it with what the label claims. For steroids and peptides this is the only objective quality control that exists, because the products never pass through any public inspection.
How to read the numbers
The report states the measured content, for example 241 mg/ml, and the label promises 250 mg/ml. Divided, that is 96.4 percent of label. On Ampullen, 90 percent of label or more counts as a pass. Below 90 percent the product is underdosed against its label, and above 115 percent it is flagged as over label because it holds substantially more than stated. Both are deviations you want to know about.
Purity is not the same as content
Purity in percent tells you how much of the measured substance is the right molecule. A peptide test can show 99.6 percent purity and 115 percent of label at the same time. Purity is about contamination, content is about quantity.
Why the batch and the date matter
A test covers the batch that was sent in, not everything the vendor has ever sold. That is why the registry shows the batch number where it exists and marks tests older than a year. A vendor with many tests over time is worth more than a vendor with one good test.
